Mary Claire Kiernan, DDS

Dr. Kiernan has always been passionate about child development, healthcare, and creating positive experiences for children and families. She earned her undergraduate degree in Child Study and Human Development from Tufts University before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

While attending the University of Michigan, Dr. Kiernan served as the student leader for the school’s Give Kids a Smile Day, an annual outreach event providing free dental care and oral health education to children in the community. Her experiences working with children and their families, combined with her love of dentistry, made specializing in pediatric dentistry a natural choice.

Dr. Kiernan returned to the Midwest to complete her pediatric dental residency at Children’s Wisconsin, where she continues to serve on staff. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
