My goal as an Oral Medicine specialist is to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care for patients experiencing complex oral health concerns. I focus on helping patients understand the underlying causes of their symptoms and guiding them through treatment with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care.

At Racine Dental Group, I evaluate and treat conditions affecting the oral cavity and facial structures, including temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, dental sleep apnea, and oral mucosal diseases. My background in both clinical care and research allows me to approach these conditions from a broader medical and dental perspective, ensuring each patient receives personalized treatment designed to improve comfort, function, and overall health.

With more than a decade of experience in clinical practice, research, and academic dentistry, I remain committed to staying current with the latest advances in oral medicine, orofacial pain, and sleep-related breathing disorders. My goal is to provide patients with clear answers and effective solutions—especially for conditions that may have been difficult to diagnose or manage elsewhere.

Service & Academic Leadership:

Before transitioning to full-time clinical care, I spent more than eight years in academic dentistry helping train the next generation of dental professionals. During this time, I served as Associate Professor and Section Director at the Dental College of Georgia and held faculty appointments at Tufts University and Virginia Commonwealth University.

I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and have lectured nationally on topics including orofacial pain, temporomandibular joint disorders, oral mucosal disease, and the connection between oral and systemic health.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy traveling, exploring the Milwaukee brewing scene, hiking, working out, and spending time with my family. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati and value building meaningful relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds.
