Insurance Patients - Payments
Co-payments and deductible payments are designed by insurance companies to enhance patient responsibility and commitment to their own dental care. Therefore, we require that patients with insurance pay the co-payments and deductibles at the time of service.
Dental Insurance
This office is happy to cooperate with individuals who are covered by dental insurance. We do ask that you read your policy thoroughly so that you are fully aware of the benefits provided and the limitations imposed. Most insurance are accepted at Racine Dental Group, S.C. Please contact your insurance company with any questions regarding your coverage.
We understand the value of insurance benefits that you receive from your employer who has negotiated and purchased a certain level of dental benefits for you. As long as you provide us with insurance benefit information in advance, we will file a dental claim with your insurer on your behalf.
The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly and others delay payment many months.
We will fulfill our obligations by completing all forms and sending them to your insurance company to help you obtain the reimbursement you are entitled to receive.
The procedure in handling patient accounts is the same for patients with or without insurance - you will be billed for all services since Racine Dental Group is not a party to the agreement you have with your insurance company. Therefore, ultimate responsibility for payment lies with you, the patient.
Thank you for placing your trust in us to provide your dental care! We look forward to a happy, healthy and affordable smile for you, your family and friends.
