Full Time Dental Assistant
Job Description: Hours: Will Vary Dental Assistant with 7 years of experience and expanded duty experience. This position involves close interaction with our patients, Doctor, RDG staff. Professionalism and confidentiality are key. Keeping patient calm and comfortable; take and develop X-rays; charting; disinfect operatory and sterilize instruments being aware of exposures to Bloodborne Pathogens; and act as back-up for the Receptionist. Coronal polishing experience, placing cord around teeth, make and trim temps for crowns or bridges, taking impressions, try-in and adjusting permanent crowns, etc.
Requirements Hepatitis B Series completion or signed waiver Tuberculosis Annual screening or signed waiver OSHA Annual training provided by RDG Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Current certification - Bi-annual recertification provided by RDG
Credentials Minimum Education Certified Dental Assistant Degree Minimum Experience seven years as dental assistant Preferred Experience ten years as dental assistant
